Current WAI Projects: Wisconsin Registry for Alzheimer's Prevention (WRAP)
Gail is responsible for managing and organizing the biological samples collected in the WRAP study. Gail graduated in 1992 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.S. degree from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences; Genetics. For fifteen years, Gail has been employed at biotech companies in the Madison area mainly involved in agricultural cloning. She has experience micro-manipulating oocytes, performing in-vitro fertilization, cell culture, extracting DNA from various sources, genotyping and scoring gels. During this period, she has had experience setting up a working laboratory and stocking it with equipment and reagents as well as tracking reagent usage in stocks and media. It was her responsibility to maintain and order all lab consumables. |
