WAI Milwaukee Office

Because African-Americans are at greater risk than Caucasians for Alzheimer’s, WAI established a minority outreach program in Milwaukee to improve access to services, provide education to increase awareness and offer supportive services. Initiated in 2008, WAI Milwaukee is the first dementia clinic specifically for African-Americans with a Federally Qualified Health Center.
