Conference Overview:

Experts in the field of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias will present on topics that translate research into practice and include culturally-specific approaches to diagnosis and care that optimize patient and caregiver outcomes.


The goal of the conference is to improve the diagnostic and therapeutic capability of healthcare providers who care for persons living with dementia due to Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

 

Who Should Attend?

Primary care physicians, psychiatrists, neurologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, psychologists, social workers, physician assistants, occupational and speech therapists, researchers, case managers and other healthcare professionals who diagnose, treat and manage Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders in diverse populations.

Instructions for Claiming Credit

To receive your proper number of credit hours:

  • Visit: https://ce.icep.wisc.edu
  • Log in to your account using the same login and password you used to register for this conference
  • Select My Account > Edit > Profile
    • Check to be sure you have completed all of the profile fields so your credit is assigned correctly, and click the Save button

If you receive an “Access Denied” error message after logging into your account, please refresh the page.

  • Select  My Activities > Pending Activities (select the conference from this list) > BEGIN
  • Complete the steps listed on the Course Progress Bar, including the Credit step​​​​​​​
    • Complete the Credit Calculator Worksheet below
    • Select the credits you are eligible to earn
    • Enter the total credits earned from the Credit Calculator Worksheet
    • Check the box to attest to your participation in the conference and click Submit
  • Select Certificate > Start > Download Certificate to download your certificate
  • To access your certificate at any time, return to My Activities and select Completed Activities
  • Select Download to print a copy of the letter associated with your credit
  • If you are eligible for more than one credit type, you will see all listed in your online transcript
